Turkey supports Northern Kurdish to be independent from Iraq.

Currently, the Iraqi security situation is very unstable. Nevertheless, in this dangerous situation, the northern Kurdish autonomous region announces that it decide to be independent from Iraq, and gain the support of Turkey.  
It is surprise that Turkey support northern Kurdish to create a country. For a long time, Turkey government afraid the independence of northern Kurdish may became a threat to Turkey. Some views think that this change is because Turkey has a problem with other countries and it wants to raise up its economy. Everyone knows that the Iraq wars happened in 2003 due to the American army's interference. The army finally become a power that threat the Iraq government to be stable; but now America has called the army back to the country, without the direct interference of America, Iraq is now unstable again. Now Turkey choose to be at the same side and hold the same view with America is an action that shows Turkey want to be friendly with America. Be a friend of the country who has the world top GDP is definitely positive for Turkey to change its diplomacy situation. On the other hand, in recent years, Turkey always wants to be a member of European Union, but EU still not accept Turkey. So, give up EU and choose America may be another good way for Turkey to developing, since the country wants to raise its GDP into the world top 10 in 2023, which is the hundred birthday of the country.



The judge of second semifinal of the World Cup this year is from Turkey.

These days, FIFA announce that the judge of the second semifinal, the match between Argentina and Netherlands, is Turkish judge Cakir. This will be the third time for Cakir to be a judge of this World Cup. Cakir started his judging of international games since 2006. He used to be selected to judge the quarterfinal of 2012 European Cup. Cakir in the second Turkish judge who is selected to judge the World Cup in the history. The last one is Babakan, who judged games of the World Cup in 1974. So, Cakir will be the man be record in the soccer history of Turkey.

Turkish hip hop

Turkish hip hop is first created in Turkish migrant worker community in Germany. During the time, Turkish migrants were discriminated by German. Even though new Turkish baby was born in German, the baby still didn't consider as a German. With the original eastern culture and poor speaking of German, the youth of Turkish start using hip hop as a way to express their  identity construction. One important influence of Turkish hip hop was Cartel in 1990s, which was a Turkish rap group had a great success on hip hop through out the entire Turkey. Although the group had a violent problem and their music were ban until 2004, the group still had a significant affect on the develop of Turkish hip hop. Today, Turkish hip hop is kind like American hip hop. With the country is being modern and open, hip hop is be accept by more and more people in Turkey, especially the youth.

Turkish dance mainly refer to the folk dance. There are many kinds of folk dances in Turkey, and Halay is one of them.  The dance is performed as a symbol of creation and originality of the folk, since it is very simple and it's the most striking dance in all Turkish folk dances. Halay's rhythm is very rich. The music of dance is so symbolic. What I mean is that when people hear the music, they can probably know that it is from the Middle East. In addition, Halay has a large extend through the country, which means that even though Halay is a folk dance, it is still widely be accepted.

The start of Turkish theatre could be back to hundreds, even thousands years ago, in the period of the Ottoman Empire. At that time, dances, music and songs all performed as rituals of the inhabitants of Anatolia. With the time past, those rituals now are showing in theatre shows. Meantime, these traditional Turkish theatre includes many different theatrical performances. Like there are many different type of folk dances in Turkey, there are also different style of theatres, such as Karagoz, Meddah, Ortaoyunu and so on. Turkish traditional theatre has a significant place in Anatolian culture. Therefore, it raises to the essence of contemporary Turkish theatre. Nowadays, many theatres are showing in the Turkish State Theatre which located in Istanbul.

A.I.Bezzerides

A.I.Bezzerides, full name Albert Isaac , was born in Samsun, Ottoman Empire in 1908. He was born in a Greek-American family. For this reason, his family immigrated to America before he was two. Bezzerides was an author. His first publish was in 1935 called Passage Into Eternity, in an issue of Story Magazine. The most well-known work of him is his script Kiss Me Deadly. The film based on this script brought an important affect on many other directors. In the time when he was in the University of California, Bezzerides began write short stories as a student since he still thought he had to improve himself.  

Abidin Dino

Dino was born in an art family in Istanbul in 1913. For this reason, he started drawing and painting at a young age. Dino's secondary education was at Robert College of Istanbul, which was an American high school. However, He dropped the school to focus on painting, drawing and writing. In 1993, he became the member of "Group D", which was a young innovative painters consist of six teenagers. During the time in "Group D", Dino got a chances to held several exhibitions of his and teams' work. In 1941, Dino got a chance to go to south eastern Anatolia and these years until 1945 were artistically very productive for Dino. After 1951, Dino was allowed to leave Turkey. Therefore he went to Rome, Italy and other countries to see the world and improve himself.

Adnan Oktar

Adnan Oktar is also known as Harun Yahya. He was born in Ankara, 1956 in Turkey. He grew up in the city until he finished his high school education. He work as an author and he is a Sunni Muslim. In between 1980 to 2000, Oktar successfully built his own community.  The followers of the community was mainly from the region around the Sea of Marmara. Because the anarchy, terror and other unstable situations in 1990s, Oktar was unable to continue studying and thus started working when he was still at school. Therefore, at the time he left school, he put all his energy into his books. In the last two decateds, Oktar was involved in a number of leagal cases. And in 2010, he was selected as one of the top fifty of The 5000 Most Influential Muslims in the world. 

Hayati Çitaklar

Hayati Citaklar was born in Tekirdag, Turkey in 1986. He is very talent, since he  is a Novelist, Playwright, Poet, Actor and Editor. He studied in Istanbul University State Conservatory Theatre Department to learn professional skill and knowledge about being a performer during 2008 to 2011. Also, he started publishing poems, short stories and other literary outputs. The work of that time also include his film reviews in magazines and newspapers. In 2010, he decided to be a full-time writer, thus he left acting and directing jobs. From that, the began his carreer as a playwright with Yildiz Kenter, who is a famous Turkish actress and theatre professor.
